|For the past few weeks, PHTA has been focused on the COVID-19 outbreak and its potential impact to our members. Many of you have reached out to us for guidance on what to communicate to your customers about whether COVID-19 could be transmitted in pools and hot tubs. Today, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released official guidance regarding this issue.|
According to the CDC, there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.

Following the CDC’s announcements regarding the Coronavirus COVID-19 we would like to reassure
and update our valued customers on our plan to keep customers and our team safe whilst complying with
CDC’s advice and keeping our business running as best we can.
Our showroom is open by appointment only. Please call to schedule an appointment 775 470 5000
All surfaces where contact is likely (i.e. door handles, screens, handrails) will be cleaned regularly throughout
the day and sanitized after every customer visit. Hand washing and sanitizing wipes are available to every customer
visiting the showroom. We request that anyone presenting symptoms refrain from visiting the showroom. We have
hot tubs in stock available for delivery. If you have to isolate yourself at home, you may as well make the
most of it – what better place to self-isolate than in a hot tub!
PRIVATE APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE
For customers wishing to view our hot tubs or would prefer to have the showroom to themselves, this can
be arranged. We have morning and evening appointments available on request.
HOME CONSULTATIONS & IN STORE VISITS
We are available to carry out home visits by appointment if you wish to discuss our hot tub delivery radius
and survey your site. If you would prefer, we didn’t visit your home we can use technology to interact with
you via video calling. Brochures are available to download from our website.
SERVICE & MAINTENANCE SUPPORT
Our service team will still carry out general service and maintenance work for our customers. Our
engineers will be following CDC’s advice, distance themselves from customers, and be more vigilant with
hygiene precautions. They have sanitizing wipes and hand wash available on the vans. We are asking
current customers who are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms to inform us, and we can arrange the
appointment for a later date.
CHEMICALS & ACCESSORIES IN ADVANCE
With customers being at home more than usual we expect hot tub usage to increase.
If you require chemicals or accessories, please order via on our website or call the store.
We will be on-hand to offer help and advice as usual. We will be manning the telephones and replying to
emails and messages out of hours. We expect hot tubs to be well-used over the coming months. If you run
into problems just give us a shout.
